Why do adults think “So what’s your major? Oh, and what are you going to do with that?” is acceptable small talk

What am I going to do with my degree? Hang it on the wall and cry, probably

It’s so difficult to describe depression to someone who’s never been there, because it’s not sadness. I know sadness. Sadness is to cry and to feel. But it’s that cold absence of feeling— that really hollowed-out feeling.

I’ve also been hired as a bartender, and will be legally licensed as such in two weeks, at least in Alaska.

Which means that you’ll give the best gifts to those who still need to put up with Datwyler, right? Riiiiiiiiiiiiight?

Coco is a gorgeous older gal who has had some tough times. She’s 14 years old, and was chained up in a back yard for the first twelve years of her life. Then she was dropped off at the shelter after hours and left in the hot sun before shelter workers were able to get to her.
Everyone at the Martin County Humane Society in Indiana and here at the Shelter Pet Project want nothing more than for Coco to have a loving home of her own for the remainder of her years.
She’s spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She’s also incredibly sweet and despite it all, loves people.
Please reblog and share so that someone amazing will contact the shelter at 812-295-5900 or email mchs@frontier.com and snap Coco up!
